This morning I was reading about a new car from Toyota which would have solar energy panels on it’s roof. That’s nice ofcourse, but immediately I was thinking about powering/recharging my Asus EEE mini-laptop with solar energy. A quick google didn’t find yet such a device for laptops – just using a simple solar energy panel isn’t enough, you also have to be aware of fluctuating voltage-levels etc. But I did find a Solar energy based bag on www.eclipsesolargear.com. Quite a nice bag, which allows you to recharge your PDA/mobile phone/batteries while you are walking outside in the light/sun.
