Yesterday I left my bed and the first thing I heard was “what a bad weather today”. To give it a positive turn I said it wasn’t all that bad weather, but I think somehow from then on the devil woke up, because *everyone* kept complaining the whole day about the weather. Argh!!! At the end of the day I almost started to believe that it was *that* bad weather.

Guys, it’s just a state of mind that you think it’s bad weather. It isn’t that bad at all, ok?

Are you one of those many people who are using the metro in Rotterdam everyday? If you do so, did you realize that you are actually also travelling along many bunkers which are located beneath the metro stations?

They are called ‘Burgerbevolking schuilkelders’ (bunkers for civilians) and are built there to protect against attacks or atombomb attacks. You can find more information about it at NBDC and also on this page.

All underground metrostations have those bunkers, except Delfshaven, Marconiplein and Wilhelminaplein. So now you know where you have to be

I sometimes wonder, (why) are those videos always made by Americans?

Honda worldwide has improved their ASIMO robot again, now it can run at an incredible speed of 3 km/hour.

Sony is also progressing with their robot called QRIO.

TU Delft is also working on a robot, but their robot works a little bit different, as you can see here.

Ofcourse there are a lot more robots being developed by companies and Plyojump gives a good overview.
