I was travelling with the metro back home and while feeling bored — no there is really little to do in the metro — I was staring at a guy who was building his cigarette by preparing the tabacco stuff. Very interesting ofcourse to look at.

The doors opened at Pernis metrostation and usually they stay open for about 10 seconds or so. The guy asked me whether the metro already passed the Tussenwater metrostation. Because there were not many seconds left before the doors would close again, I had to think and response very quickly, so I said “Yes, the
previous station you passed was Tussenwater”. He was in panic and immediately stepped out of the metro and the doors closed again.
But I lied, the next metrostation was Tussenwater.

Please call Stella. Ask her to bring these things with her from the store: Six spoons of fresh snow peas, five thick slabs of blue cheese, and maybe a snack for her brother Bob. We also need a small plastic snake and a big toy frog for the kids. She can scoop these things into three red bags, and we will go meet her Wednesday at the train station.
That’s exactly what 441 speakers from all over the world try to read and say. And it is all collected in a Speech accent archive.

While walking to my work, I suddenly heard a man laughing pretty loud. I looked into his direction and about 25 meters away from me I saw a happy face saying pretty loud that it’s healthy to laugh — in Dutch “lachen is gezond”.
I agree with him.

There are really a lot of strange vehicles on earth.
